Definition

Nowdays, lower back pain is a common problem. In this kind of problem the patient feel pain/strain to tendons or muscles at the back.   

 

 

Symptoms

- Sudden pain arises at Lower back area

- Usually, pain occurs after bending

-There can be Muscle Spasm

-Pain can travel till back of your legs

-Stiffness at the problem area  

-Posture problems

-Tingling and Numbness in your legs

 

Causes

-Any injury

-Weakness of core muscles

-Lifting heavy weight

-Excess Forward Bending

-Prolonged driving/bike riding

-Lack of physical exercise

Treatment

Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy is very useful approach in managing the lower back pain. With the help of Asanas, we can enhance strength and flexibility which result in cure. Few asanas for lower back pain:-

- Bridge pose /Setu bandhasana

Obesity is a curse as obese people are suffering from lower back pain, due to the pressure on the spine. To maintain the body weight patient should follow strict diet therapy.
